Pinch Hero is an ode to the bizarre, beautiful, and brilliant aspects of baseball. It’s a weird communications student’s perspective on a weird game. I’m Alexis LaMarsh, baseball fan and student at Webster University. I think bunting is bad, I will argue about the designated hitter’s lack of fun for days, and I get excited when Matt Carpenter bats leadoff. I also write for St. Louis Bullpen, where I talk about my beloved Birdos. Not actually a member of the Cardinals’ bullpen.
